About us

    LCCIEB (London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Examinations Board) has been an internationally recognized awarding body for more than a century. From its creation in 1881, LCCI recognised the need for improved commercial and technical secondary education alongside advanced foreign language courses. The Examinations Board of the London Chamber of Commerce was appointed in 1887, and the first LCCI examinations were held later the same year.

    The changing structure of industry and employment in the UK and across Europe had increased the need for members of staff to develop clerical and commercial skills. In response to this demand, LCCI designed a series of vocational qualifications to assess candidates’ abilities. Now, there is a growing network of more than 5,000 LCCI registered centres in over 100 countries worldwide.

    In December 2002, following a merger with Goal plc (Global Online Assessment for Learning), LCCI became part of Education Development International plc (EDI), a leading provider of vocational qualifications and online assessment solutions.

    Today, LCCI International Qualifications include a number of vocational, professional and English language certificates and are recognised and respected by employers, governments and universities worldwide.

    GLOBAL INPUT is the Italian and Balkan Countries representative for the LCCIEB (London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Examinations Board).

    The company’s head office is in Rome - Italy.

    It is a non-profit organization which has been operating since 2001 as an agency recognised in the field of teacher training.

    Main activities are:

    • The LCCIEB certificates for English language skills in the business area
    • Design of specialized language training (for doctors, architects, business manager, etc.)
    • Organization of vocational training for teachers in cooperation with public bodies
    • “Stage" service for students to work and study in Europe
